Heroes of Might and Magic IV Duel Tournament: "Wisdom and Luck"

Sorceresses, Djinns, Mages, and a Priest with sleds made the game.

Zybr(Chaos) lost Havr(Chaos) 0-2
Got a Ring of Speed, Ring of Permanence, and Sniper’s Crossbow. Among the troops: 4 Champions, 33 Goblins, 12 Nightmares, 104 Medusas, and 477 Orcs. Tactician with Chaos Advanced and a Druid with Phoenixes and other summons. The opponent had 5 Champions, 34 Goblins, 70 Evil Eyes, a couple hundred Troglodytes, and around 700 Thieves. Their heroes: a Tactician and an Order Mage Guild with a tome. First, I piled on the Champions with Orcs, Medusas (unlucky with petrification, I was hoping for it) and summoned Phoenixes. Eventually, I reduced their count to 3, which was less threatening. The opponent got upset upon discovering my Ring of Permanence but made a decent move by teleporting Goblins to my Tactician. However, the Tactician cast Confusion on the Goblins. At that point, the opponent seemed to get completely frustrated and made the main mistake — he flew the Champions to kill my Tactician (they didn’t even remove Immortality with the hit), thereby opening a direct path for my Goblins to his Tactician in one turn. Thanks to the Ring of Speed, they acted last — they removed Immortality from the Tactician. And on the next turn, they were first and finished off the Tactician.

I again had Sorceresses, Djinns, Mages, and a Priest with sleds. The opponent had a Chaos Mage Guild Tactician. First turn: Djinns cast Mass Slow, Sorceresses cast Mass Cancel, Mages poison the Tactician. However, the Tactician drinks a healing potion, so we don’t go into sleds on the first turn and instead cast Mass Zeal. Besides, the opponent is slowed anyway and can’t reach us. On the second turn, into the sleds. After that, we scattered a bit in all directions to ensure heroes were killed from ambush. It worked out without much trouble.
