Maybe Yura didn't quite explain it clearly: choosing a Castle first doesn't necessarily mean you can say, "I'm going to play Necropolis (or Conflux, depending on preference, but Necropolis is better here)." :)

I'm not arguing that Necropolis isn't better here, that's why I'm suggesting it, because I can't really play Necropolis well myself, and giving it to a good player is like giving them a 50% chance of winning, it's just a little unfair that we're not on the list and we're always second.
