The color doesn't really matter, but it would be nice to be able to choose the castle.

Maybe Yura didn't explain it very clearly: choosing the castle first doesn't mean you can say, "I'm going to play Necropolis (or Conflux, depending on your preference, but Necropolis is better here)." :)
