SoD Championship

The organizers of EPT poker announced that it will take place in Michurinsk (74km :D) and will be held in the Omaha variant (they just didn't specify high or high/low — these aren't even as huge differences as between big and small tennis)

And imagine at this Michurinsk EPT all the familiar faces from HeroesWorld are playing. Would you even go play Razzy :D

I don't quite get it — are classes, banks, experience no longer a fundamental difference between SoD and HotA? That is, are HotA players now willingly playing SoD? Don't bring Vika as an example.

Of course they're not fundamental! Among the staunch true HotA players, I can only single out FireToSky and LeBron, although both also play in SoD tournaments.

How different is the new generation of players? Do they have more arms, legs, a third eye on their forehead?

They have something that didn't exist before 2009 — regular online games and high-speed unlimited internet! If before people traveled for the sake of the game, now for the sake of the game it's enough to just go online. Well, 60 people won't travel in our time just to play Heroes. Nowadays, people more often travel but don't play :)
