Naggan still lives in those times when there was TE and when you had to separate units in SoD manually. What's the point of proving to an old believer that you can call not only from a payphone? Eric, no offense, but everyone changed their opinion about SoD a long time ago, with the advent of HD-mod.

I didn't quite get it — classes, banks, experience — are those no longer fundamental differences between SoD and HotA? So HotA players are now willingly playing SoD? Just don't bring Vika as an example. :D

The history starts from 2009 because online and club tournaments began to develop very actively, precisely as playing Heroes, which now has a different value.

So ToH tournaments never existed. Maniac's tournaments, where hundreds of people played, never existed; the Chaos League, which gathered 50-60 people, never existed.
Krasnodar, Minsk, Yekaterinburg, Michurinsk with dozens of players never existed... of course they didn't, because all of this was before 2009. ;)

How different are the new generation of players? Do they have more arms, legs, or a third Eye on their forehead? They're the same people, just found Heroes a bit later. Guys, excuse me, but in my opinion the best players are Stinger, Cobra, Bayazet, AlexGreat, as well as players from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Belarus, and Ukraine, whom I knew long before 2009.
It's great that there are new players, but still, tournaments — especially club ones — are mostly attended by old players who started playing before 2009.

The only thing I raised in this topic was to hold a Heroes tournament in SoD. If the idea finds support, we'll run it. I talked to Peter about this topic, and this guy from Kyiv offered to organize it at their place — there are plenty of players.
I have experience organizing and judging tournaments, I can even arrange it in another city.
