This is what happened today:
I attack an opponent's town, there's a hero outside, and no one or nothing inside. The hero is killed, but the town doesn't change color. Anyone know what's going on?
It's a bug; you killed another hero in the castle, and this one remained as a ghost. The root cause is the same as with the gray castle. Solution: heal it through HD, preferably loaded by both players.
