You started the list correctly. And it ended with the 5th person, which is also telling.
But it's even more interesting to count the number of tournament trips to other cities in recent years - I think it will turn out that I have more such trips than all five of you combined. And the other SoD players have even fewer. And I'm far from the only one who travels like that.
So, the question is - who will the championship organizers cater to?
The issue of the game version should only be raised after ensuring the participation of the players. At least at the level of a declaration - "I will come if there is a SoD tournament."
Here's a specific situation - let's say that in Odessa-2013, it was decided to hold a championship in 2 brackets - SoD and WoG. Can you bring 16 true SoD players? And not just those who have already signed up.
Yur, you messed up. I have 3 from St. Petersburg, 3 from Moscow, 1 from Krasnodar, and 3-4 from Tambov. If you count Mizrael or Skorp, then there are so many who came to my city for tournaments that it's impossible to count.
If you've traveled, say, 15 times, then yes, I respect you, but no more than me, Mizrael, and Skorp.;)
Just don't write that Michurinsk and Tambov are the same city, then don't count Kingisepp.

NagaN, Eric, you are really stirring up trouble out of nothing. Recently, with the release of a full HD mod+, the versions have become so mixed that people no longer care what they play. The vast majority of WoG players play in all SoD tournaments (thanks to World!), so if some particularly stubborn "true SoD player" doesn't want to play full WoG, they will agree on SoD or WoG-lite, which is the same as SoD.
They may play SoD, but they bash it on the forums :(
"SoD is garbage, old-timers play WoG"

No one is forcing you to do anything. The arguments about "what to play" have not been very relevant for the past couple of years, they are just a lingering aftermath of past disputes. Everyone plays what they think is right, and doesn't pressure others.
You and Eric just haven't noticed this because of the low activity.
There's no point in arguing. I'll try to talk to Pete, the Muscovites, and other players. If it works out, we'll hold it in the fall or winter, if not, then it's not a big deal.
:D
