I'm all for a summer (or warm – spring/autumn) SOD...
I don't know who would travel from far away in the summer or autumn? Unfortunately, there's no alternative to the May holidays. And having 2 events a year is already a big deal. Wicc
If the Warlords & Titans community is capable of self-organization in real life, while the SOD community only exists online, then it's logical that club championships are held for Warlords & Titans.
I completely agree. Personally, I'm convinced that with the advent of the HD mod, the game version is no longer relevant. If before, one could argue that Warlords & Titans/The Eastern Clans had a convenient interface, now that advantage is gone, and SOD is competitive. Nagan-4
they issue ultimatums, so although the tournaments were initially conceived as joint TE and SOD events, they became only TE-Warlords & Titans.
The ultimatums are issued by SOD fans who say: "Oh, Warlords & Titans... there's no point in even coming." I'm ready to play any version of the game, and I'm coming to the CIS championship not so much for playing Heroes, but for socializing, meeting old friends, and meeting new ones, as well as for getting to know another city (country) and other entertainment, which in the modern world is the primary factor of a good tournament.Nagan-4
In conclusion, I'll say that a game between the best Heroes players always generates great interest. At one time, people traveled to Krasnodar specifically to see how Chaos, the most famous Moscow player, would play against Antal, the legendary Heroes player from St. Petersburg.
Now, no one will travel to watch a beautiful game; now there are streams and broadcasts, and people have already watched enough beautiful games from pro players.
In Moscow, there was just a tournament, without any additional flair (as far as I understand from this topic). People won't travel from far away for that, so the tournament turned out to be a "Moscow get-together," and the game version has absolutely nothing to do with it.
