Otherwise, in the script, Lilith was taking away 2500 without considering anything. :o

How else should it be? Everything is written in the description of Lilith's ability. 2500 is the base value. You can't take away the entire amount, otherwise Lilith won't be able to hide in Valafar's portal after stealing ;)
