The eternal question: which heroes are better, mages or warriors?

Indeed, which hero is the best, excluding Necromancers and epic heroes?

Logistics experts - Kirr, Gunnar, (Dessa), defense experts - Tazar, Mephala, (Nella), attack experts - Kreg Hex, (Gundula). Monster - Galtran. And Shakthi is great (due to 2-3 starting stacks of troglodytes). Luna, because she deals burn damage.
