I had to fight not only against my opponent but also against the AI, which played very aggressively, and against my own Djinns. I didn't have enough strength to fight against such an alliance.

The first week was spent on scouting. Dessa made a mistake with the direction and had to run around the highlands. Lacus captured the AI's castle; there were even Trolls there, using their own tactics. The AI is gone, or rather, some noob killed a unit with 4 Zombies. The main army is nowhere to be found. I spent a couple of days near the city and then headed to the center with Dessa.

I see a Fortress and a village nearby, and also a noob opponent with a stronger army. There's nothing to do but attack the Fortress with what I have. We killed 4 Master Djinns and one Naga. It was a complete waste of resources on the attack, but I still didn't have enough money.

And then the black day came. First, Neela established dominance with Lightning, and my Djinns, instead of casting something useful, cast Frenzy on the Angels:rolleyes:. The calculation for an even exchange didn't work out. And then the AI started pressuring me; I didn't have enough money for a proper defense of the city.

I bought my way out, and if I hadn't had a money shortage (the AI city still gave me a thousand, and there was also a market there), I might have been able to withstand the siege. Considering how brilliantly Fire played the final, with a complete buyout and upgrade of Golems, he might have even defended.
