We started, roads were average, level 2 was built, Luna and Nimus in the tavern. I revealed the watchtower right away, the respawn was decent, worth playing. On the first week I took several crypts, a mini-Dwarf Cottage (they cut 1 air elemental and 10 pixies on the shipyards), Legion's Belt of +4 water, and an external dwelling of water elementals as well. Birds were built in the Citadel. Nimus has expert attack and tactics, basic earth, slow and shield are available. Luna with logistics, broke through 20-49 hell hounds on the pixies and took a secondary Stronghold, with a stable and a Griffin Conservatory underneath it. Nimus on day 117 at the home stable. Another Griffin Conservatory was revealed at home, in the corner of the respawn.
On day 121 I bought the birds, broke through the marksmen to the secondary Tower, but was 1 hex short of reaching the castle. Along the way I broke through a horde of grand elves for a Dragon Fly Hive, but I didn't go into the actual hive without meat (and later never got around to it). There were as many as 2 GO, and immediately along 2 roads — a crowd of hydras and a crowd of bears. The hydras were positioned more conveniently, I planned out a week's schedule to be next to them with speed on day 125. On day 124 Nimus took a Naga Bank of 4 near the home Griffin Conservatory, leveled up oil, and with it the conservatory itself, which unfortunately turned out to be only a level 2. I got logistics.
Day 125 — Nimus got wrecked in the main. Here I made a mistake and forgot to leave a bird for speed, so I ran to the GO on the pixies, replenishing mana at the well along the way. Luna took the level-2 conservatory on the rocks, and on the same turn Ignat discovered another one half a turn away in the same area. I gave Luna earth magic.
Day 126 — I entered the third conservatory with Luna, it was 100-249. I took a risk here; it turned out to be the third level 2 in a row, for a total of 6 angels. The Fire Lady got expert earth. I pass back, buy Nimus +1 spell power, attack the GO, 28 hydras with Greater Haste, no problem of course. I advanced logistics and got Armorer, just what I needed. Scouting the ground, and I was literally a couple of hexes short of reaching the opponent's empty castle. The speed cost me.
