05.02.2013 KobRa (red, Swamp, Tazar, Tazar) def kalababa (blue, Rampart, Kyrre, Kyrre), 8mm6a, 221
I don't remember the exact day of the last save, since I was playing on a different PC; I think KobRa will write it, but roughly week 2 month 2 =)
We played god knows how many sessions, with funny correspondence before each game: "who's playing which faction?" =)) I remember the whole game poorly; I remember I couldn't take the enemy town early because of a block of 19 monarchs; KobRa also took the second town only on the second week, and even then it was just a village. On the second week I took the enemy town and the first Griffin Conservatory, and then it took off... At the beginning of the third week, I use a scout hero on an angel to break through the subway — I come out, and there's Tazar on an angel with [some number] flies. Kyrre changes direction and sends Tazar home after killing his 2 angels. Nearby there's a power stack, but I'm 150 MP short of reaching it (((. The opponent moves everything away along the chain and goes in another direction; I realize there's no point chasing him, so I go to gather more Griffin Conservatories; by the end of the third week I had about 20 angels, I break 3 Dragon Utopias; from control I only have KZ, but no Earth magic; an opportunity appears to assemble the Armor of the Damned with the Red Ball; all parts are already on heroes, I just need to capture the town and break them there, but I'm 100 MP short of capturing the town!!! ((( On KobRa's turn, Tazar emerges from the town and crushes me with almost no chance. By the way, I saw that from the third week the opponent was collecting peasants from secret stashes (about 7 stashes that I saw), and he had a Necropolis town; as the stash reveals showed, there weren't 7 but about twice as many, and he had been collecting them since the second week; in the end, 1.5k skeletons. I don't even know if the Armor of the Damned with the Red Ball would have helped me against Tazar, I dunno, but it would have been interesting.
I confirm! In front of the town — a block; the Dragon Utopia guard — 49 Azure Griffins; I broke through them without critical losses — I had to continue playing, but it would have been better to surrender :D because further along the road, all the respawn was cut off by Master Genies guarding a quest artifact... and a sawmill too. :( In the end, I wandered around the underground for a week and a half, took 7 peasant stashes, found another Dragon Utopia near my village, but not a single Hive or Griffin Conservatory in sight. At the beginning of the third week, I finally break the Genies and run up; kalababa emerges from the teleport and drives away the overextended Tazar on flies and an angel. If he had reached the hero with the army, we would have finished right there, but instead we suffered for almost a month of real time; I built Town Portal, then Dimension Door, and finally caught up with the swift Kyrre, and also saved the game
Thanks for the game!
