Player rating for tournaments across all installments of Heroes.
I realized my mistake. I was thinking about it yesterday. What if the formula is: B = ((R(i) - M(i))/N) * sqrt(K), where N is the number of participants, R(i) is the player's rank in the rating of this tournament, taking into account the ratings of all players, M(i) is the player's rank in the tournament, and K is the tournament coefficient, equal to the average rating of this tournament for all players. In this case, there may be negative values if the player performed significantly worse than expected. I'll try to recalculate the tournament results for Heroes of Might and Magic II using this formula and see what happens.
