But if life turns out to be against order, then the numbers don't matter. The "Forgetfulness" spell and a bent bow will do the trick. I had a similar situation. Life had more units than I did, but I won through cunning. Never underestimate an artifact like the Crystal; keep it with you. Especially if Haven is nearby. That's my advice!
And a helmet with mind protection drops quite often and is very useful against the Haven faction.
