It turns out Crag can also easily clear the Monster Nook on the 1st week. I've already tried it myself. The technique is the same as with Shakti. Gather some meat and go for it, preferably with 1 Monster for reliability. So, it's better to start with Crag than with Gurnisson. IMHO.
