Tower tactics.

Many, of course, smiled when they read Znich's revelations, but, without starting a flame war, I'll say it mildly: experienced players know how to play effectively with any town/race (although they still have their favorite/least favorite factions), but it has long been known that in "Heroes 3" there are no "bad" or "good" towns - it all depends on the player and the situation!
Znich, if you don't believe it: play with someone (a human, not AI) who will play as Tower, and you play as another town! Maybe, if you get beaten several times, you will reconsider your views.
The main thing you are not taking into account: there is no dilemma of "strength OR magic" - there is "strength AND magic"! With experience, every player understands that the "coolest" magic in battle is not at all Explosion, Chain Lightning, or Armageddon,:smile30: but Slow, Amnesia, Blindness, and many others. Therefore, continue playing - and you will discover many new and interesting things! ;)
