Why don't you want the captain of the guard to try to kill me, but instead you're targeting a town player (sorry, but you don't know the player's status)?

He might get blocked.
He might get redirected.
He might get killed earlier.
He might be on the Haven team, and they won't send him, but will use normal night actions.

Why, all other things being equal, in this game do you vote instead of reading the other players or, at worst, going neutral?

What are the others writing? Are they accusing Dag, who gets eliminated every game, and trying to figure things out through psychology? No way, I only trust myself for now. Going neutral doesn't make sense, because over time the mafia might have a majority of votes, which is quite dangerous.
