There are always alternatives; there are many honest politicians, full of enthusiasm, ready to lead the country forward, who already have clear and well-defined plans for the development of the state. But we know little about them, and they do not participate in elections because they are not allowed to. Take Yavlinsky, for example.

I cannot judge whether there is a clear program, or even whether these politicians who are interested in the presidency actually exist, but I partly agree that they are not allowed to participate. Those in power will never give it up easily; this is politics. If a decent candidate does appear, it won't be out of thin air; enough time must pass, the person must make a name for themselves, and form some kind of base. There are always lobbyists and so on behind a candidate. A purely "people's candidate" sounds great, of course, but unfortunately, it only sounds good. Yavlinsky is an example of this. And believe me, even with the most transparent and honest elections and vote counts, the person who won would still win. That's what the people decided, and that's the harsh truth; we have to learn to live with it.
In general, constantly thinking about politics has a bad effect on the nerves and digestion. :) It's not worth getting too involved in it and taking it to heart; you need to be a consumer, do what depends on you, help those around you, and not be afraid to stand up for your rights, etc. If a candidate appears for whom it will not be a shame to cast your vote (and he will appear sooner or later), then I will vote for him without hesitation; I will put a checkmark "for the change of power."
