Week 1
Got off to a decent start - took the lookout: saw a Griffin Conservatory (large), a couple of crypts, an external dwelling of basilisks and gnolls, plus a decent starting artifact +2 Knowledge. Decided to go for it! On the way, I break through the guards, capture a secondary Dungeon town, immediately set up a portal there, and build the basilisk dwelling; good thing I didn't upgrade the gnolls)))) Scouting around the Dungeon reveals a Griffin Conservatory, a Dragon Fly Hive, and a bunch of gold and resources. By day 117, I have a decent stack of basilisks, a couple of Wyverns, and a few shooters.
Week 2
I check the Griffin Conservatory near the Dungeon - turns out it's tier 1; I bring reinforcements with secondary heroes, and take it on day 123. Then I head straight for the Dragon Fly Hive and capture it the next turn (a decently large one with 8 Wyverns, now I have 13 Wyverns in my army!) I split up with Tazar in the Swamp, use secondary heroes to bring the army and take a tier 3 Griffin Conservatory near my own town, and the Naga Bank. With the gold earned, I upgrade the Wyverns.
By day 127, I have 13 upgraded Wyverns, about 30 basilisks, some shooters, and I've broken through to another secondary town; judging by the terrain, it's Swamp, and that's where I headed.
Week 3
I run into the Swamp, find a portal to the treasure zone; it's hard to move around with Angels, but scouting spots an unguarded exit to the Underground and that the Swamp has been captured by the enemy, so it's dangerous to spread out! I hide my main hero from enemy eyes in the portal. I spread out secondary heroes around the area, find the opponent's main hero - I rushed there with Tazar, made it in 2 turns, and settled in for a ramp-up..
133 Opponent surrenders)) Glorious victory!)) Thanks for the game and the time spent!
