If mana has a triple, then why did he kill with mercenaries?

This is quite understandable. Triple is still expensive. Perhaps he wouldn't have enough credits to cover it the next day. And it was still too early to use the triple. It's better for him to finish the game than to leave himself against 2-3 players. The only problem for Jabba is Tarkin. And Tarkin is much easier to identify with a smaller number of players than with a larger number.
