kalababa, please provide more details. I thought that only the final matches were played in this format. Or are the finals for the winners and losers also best of 3? And what does best of 3 even mean? :)

Well, traditionally, all finals (including the winners' and losers' finals) were played in a best of 3 format (best of 3, meaning the first to win two games; roughly, until 2 wins). And even in the regular games among the winners, many played until 2 wins to reduce the chance of randomness :rolleyes:. But this time, everyone seemed to refrain and played best of 1.
