There isn't any music that I dislike; there's music that I feel neutral about.
Besides, Linkin Park never immediately appealed to me, so it's perfectly logical for me to expect the effect to kick in on the third listen.

And yes, it worked well as background music. If I express negative opinions about some music, as I did about this album, it simply means that it's worse than some other music, but it doesn't mean that it sounds bad to me in principle.
