Technical issues.

What game is it? On the disc, on the back, or in the readme file, there should be the address of 1C's technical support. Write to them with a description of the problem and the exact specifications of your system; they should be able to help.
Can you simply copy files from the disc? Because, as I understand it, the disc is displayed, but the .exe file doesn't work. Do other files (usually DirectX or Adobe) install?
Is the disc a DVD or a CD?
In general, please provide a little more information, and we'll try to help...
