I'm currently using Firefox 16.0.2, but this has been happening for a long time, with older versions and with Opera, and other users have noticed it too. I repeat: I haven't seen this on other forums! So it's unlikely to be a browser issue.

This sophism is known as "the paradox of Achilles and the tortoise." Let's imagine a race between Achilles and a tortoise.:) Let's say (for the sake of argument) that Achilles runs 10 times faster than the tortoise, and let's say that at the start, the tortoise and Achilles are separated by 1 kilometer (for simplicity, we'll use modern units of length). So, they start running; while Achilles covers this kilometer, the tortoise crawls forward 100 meters; Achilles runs these 100 meters, and the tortoise crawls forward another 10 meters, and so on. It turns out that Achilles will never catch up with the tortoise! Absurd? Of course! But what's wrong?:confused: It's not immediately obvious. We simply "fell for" the sophist's trick, considering constantly decreasing intervals of length and time. If, however, we look at what will happen when Achilles runs the second kilometer, and the tortoise crawls another 100 meters, it turns out that he has already overtaken it by 800 meters – which is what we should expect!
So, your spiritual teachers are intentionally "feeding" you with sophisms, and you "swallow" them without chewing. These gentlemen also constantly present you with an "image of the enemy," and you repeat after them: "Everything is the fault of the secret world government (ZOG)!," "Everything is the fault of the Jews!," "Everything is the fault of vaccination!," "Everything is the fault of alcoholics!," "Everything is the fault of juvenile justice!" and so on.
Please, don't embarrass yourself: don't repeat their nonsense! Think for yourself! And let them answer for their own words!
