But in other things, there are also gradations, shades - where there is more, where there is less. Alcoholism is an unconditional evil. But is any consumption of alcohol evil in itself? Of course not: a person who is taking valerian drops is not a criminal. :) "Cultural" consumption of alcohol has been firmly established in life for many centuries; it is almost the same custom as smoking a "peace pipe" among Native Americans. It is only important to know moderation in everything and behave with dignity. By the way, did you watch the video at my link above? "Prohibition" is not a solution to the problem! In our current reality, it will only lead to people massively making moonshine and drinking all sorts of surrogates - and, of course, poisoning themselves with them. :( Now - about morality and ethics. Put it away right now! :D) Here is a true, but incredibly instructive story. A husband and wife "celebrated" the New Year, as is customary in our country ("culturally" getting drunk). Then they argued. The husband strangled his wife. Sad, but this happens almost every day. :( But then something happened that did not happen in the past (during the Soviet era). The husband did not go to the police to write a confession, he did not go to church to confess and ask for advice from a priest. Instead, he dismembered his wife's body in order to get rid of the remains in parts, and managed to throw some of them into a garbage container. But then the police began to search his car, and found the rest of the body fragments in the trunk.
