Hello! Can anyone advise me on my situation: I'm playing with a friend, he chooses Necropolis [hero Deidra(Banshee)], and I choose Fortress [hero Ingvar(Protector)]. We're having a battle on a huge map, with strong neutrals. The condition is: we don't attack each other for 7-8 months, and then we have a final battle with heroes of level 31-33, to upgrade, firstly, the racial special ability, and secondly, to learn all possible skills (fortunately, there are mentors on the maps). So, I have a question (which has been bothering me quite often lately): how can you tip the scales in your favor in the final battle against Necropolis in a long game?... Please share your experience :)
It's simply impossible to defeat a good necromancer after 7-8 months; he'll overwhelm you with numbers. As for going into Darkness and equipping Sandro's Cloak, that's also pointless, because the necromancer's defense is 3-4 times higher than his attack, so Darkness won't do much good. All the conditions favor the necromancer; it's like competing on a small map with an Orc! Forget the rules and attack after 3-4 months!
