I compared upgraded monsters with non-upgraded ones. For many, attack and defense don’t change at all, and damage stays the same too. What’s the point? Because of speed?
And if speed isn’t needed in a specific situation, is it worth skipping the upgrade?
2. ...theory without practice is dead. There are some aspects of the game, primarily tempo, which are understood through real games. You need to start playing. There are no universal recipes; much is dictated both by the template and the specific random draw. Take the Griffin Conservatory now with huge losses or wait a week? No one will give a definitive answer to that question; it all depends on the position. It’s like with restarts — both the template and what the opponent got matter.
