I've played the map several times with different heroes. In my opinion, the Academy, specifically Timhan with his unique time-shifting ability, is still the coolest. He always goes first. At the beginning, he's not particularly strong, but very quickly, once he reaches his mentor, he becomes a real killing machine. I maxed out his spellcasting skill, got the Sandro's Cloak, and built an army of about 400 mages, and he cleared the legion of mummies with practically no problems. Moreover, in the hero's army, you only need one gremlin. We use hypnosis, and then hypnosis on another if he's close, and we eliminate one mummy squad with another, and when only one remains, we use phantom squad and hypnosis on this phantom, and then we eliminate the main one with this same phantom.
The second strongest hero, in my opinion, is ORA because she moves very quickly, and for a mage with maxed-out spellcasting, this is a huge plus.
