I get a kick out of hearing about what a "professor" Zhdanov is supposed to be

in this case, the title of professor is an internal position in a public organization and has nothing to do with the academic rank of professor or the position of a higher education instructor.

Well, that's it, I'm a lost cause: I've been wearing glasses, it seems, since the 1st grade. :( Currently I have -12 D in one eye and -13 D in the other. Professor, urgently fly to Mozyr! Rid me of this harmful habit at last!
The non-pharmaceutical method of vision restoration, the Bates method, by the way, is not recognized by science and cannot help in cases of organic vision disorders, hereditary myopia, etc.
Let me step back a bit; I don't want to add fuel to the fire, I'd prefer to put it out, but I think it's worth writing what I thought back then.
I'll say it bluntly but honestly: a person who claims to be considered intelligent and highly spiritual, while simultaneously hating Jews, is ridiculous and pathetic. And when he started talking about being ready to defend his gurus with his fists, I felt like saying: the shift to that level usually happens when logical arguments are exhausted, but in Ariputra's case, there were practically no logical arguments; if you wring out all the water from his mile-long posts, all that's left in the dry residue is emotions and references to the statements of authorities whose words cannot be questioned. But, alas: they are not authorities for us! We have other authorities, and their opinion carries weight for us. Those same pseudo-scientists have nothing but cross-references to each other's "works" and statistics of varying degrees of distortion. But not a single reliable fact, not a single official source!
