I agree about the atmosphere; the exception is large cities, metropolises.

Perhaps in a city, and especially a metropolis, this is less noticeable than in a village of three houses, two of which have people sitting around all day, but unfortunately, even in cities, it's not just the atmosphere, but an alcoholic haze that prevails.
