I don't know anything about Jews, but the spirit of alcoholism is in the air, and a person may simply not think that something is wrong.

Maybe Ariputra meant that it was the Jews on TV who were promoting alcohol? :) or rather, the media holdings that belonged to them :)
I agree about the spirit, with the exception of large cities, megacities.
