Question for Vitalik. Isn't it a bit early to give up? Couldn't you have taken the Golden Bow and the Griffin Conservatory? Maybe you could have held on a bit.
And one more thing. Why is the handwriting so terrible?

It's not about the layout here, but about the principle. Pete counted a restart 111 for me - when half the map was in water (Vic showed the bug), Pete said it wasn't described in the rules and that was my problem, which later prevented me from taking restart 113 (since we played three days of restarts in total). For me, Heroes is nothing more than a game, it's like an outlet, a part of life... and I didn't want to play against an opponent who, like a World judge, interprets the rules that way (just to win at any cost).

I decided, since the viewers are watching the stream, I would play until the opponent's hero appeared. But otherwise, despite the lousy start (building Golems in the Stronghold), I was going to take the Bow next turn, two trees, then experience up to 99 Minotaurs, and with Expert Earth there was a chance to take the Griffin Conservatory or into the second treasure zone, with Logistics it would have been quick - quite playable...

PS regardless of everything - Pete won deservedly.

And Megapes really made me happy, it immediately brought back memories of House's tournaments - nostalgia.
