Here, another, more profound question arises: what is order?

This is a subjective factor. An ant has its own concept of order, and a human has theirs. An ant cannot understand human logic, although humans have largely explained the logic of ants. Perhaps, in our universe, there are beings who can understand our logic and whose logic we cannot understand, nor will we ever understand.
Worms born in manure have their own order (to burrow deeper into the manure), which seems repulsive to humans.
