Nomination for "Player of the Year 2012"

I remember about six months ago (actually, almost a year has passed)...
Preamble: How I ended up on Heroes & Might & Magic. My friend was watching Driver's streams. I decided to watch streams too (to keep up with my skills). While searching and learning, I really wanted to watch the game between Gomungulus-Marretti (as part of the tragic HeroesWorldCup 2012 tournament). So, I wrote to Vitaly, even though I didn't know him at all. I basically said that I really wanted to watch, and if it wasn't too much trouble, could he let me know when the game would be so I could tune in... I wrote to him several weeks in advance. Vitaly immediately said that he would let me know in advance (a few hours before the game) when he would be playing. They played while I had classes, so I watched the games in bits and pieces... But Vitaly warned me and gave me a link (I even re-streamed it, I remember).
Then, about two weeks after my first or second game, against someone I won't name, but it was a guy from Heroes & Might & Magic. I won, reached level 131, and attacked his opponent's stronghold at level 141 (he was planning to break into the stronghold at level 141...).
THE POINT! I told Vitaly that his opponent had a bad setup (a "jebuscross" - a difficult starting position) - half of the map was blocked by monks, and the angels were positioned awkwardly. I told him, "Vitaly, the setup was bad, he reached level 141, and you could have done it earlier." Vitaly sat down and quickly (maybe an hour or more) played that game, reached level 125. Then he gave me a link - showed me how to defeat the stronghold, showed what he did, where he went - explained everything. I barely knew him then, but he spent time on me! A top Heroes & Might & Magic player spent time on a person who had only played 1-2 games on the platform. And not just for an hour...
