5.6.3. In the event that there is no guard protecting the passage, including if the guard has been moved, it is permissible to freely move from one zone to another.

5.6.5. It is permissible to pass by the guards protecting the passage without destroying them, in the case that:
- the player has already passed through this passage (i.e., destroyed one of the guards);
- the player saw the opponent destroy one of the guards or pass through this passage;
- there is any other undeniable evidence that the guard was destroyed.

If I understand correctly, 5.6.5 excludes the possibility of passing by the guard without defeating it. How should I then understand 5.6.3, please explain.
