Buddhism is more complex – it doesn't involve worshiping gods. In other words, this religion is atheistic in its essence. Moreover, there are so many different branches of Buddhism, and the differences between them are more significant than, for example, between Orthodox Christianity and Islam. In Buddhism, gods are extremely powerful beings, but not immortal. They cannot comprehend the truth and attain Nirvana. So, in Buddhism, gods are not quite gods. And certainly not creators.
