The funny thing is that it was done precisely for the convenience of players, so that they would have to click the "OK" button less often: when you've been playing for a long time and capture/visit half a dozen of these objects a day, the extra clicks only annoy and waste extra seconds. But now - a modest message in the lower right corner, which may be small, but I think it's not difficult to get used to.
