Technical issues with Heroes III.

Belendor, *you can install version 3 of the mod in the same folder as 2.98, and they will both work independently of each other.* And, in my opinion, instead of messing around, it's better to simply implement a turn transition in version 3 in the described situation with the freezing; many "heroic" glitches have already been fixed there, but this one is the most unpleasant!
By the way, I myself am currently playing on version 2.98, although I periodically downloaded and tested 3.xx, but I haven't fully switched yet: there are a number of ambiguous new features, especially in the latest releases.
