"Faith" is not a very suitable term in this context. It usually implies blind faith in something. You may not know the laws of physics, but you can believe that these laws exist somewhere and work in practice. Such faith does not give a person anything. But once you understand these laws, you can perform miracles. Awareness is the most powerful force in the world. You can become aware of things through logic, as modern science does. But this is by no means the only way. Moreover, many things cannot be understood solely through logic. Logic itself is just an abstraction invented by humans to understand what is true and what is false. But sooner or later, to understand deeper things, you will have to go beyond its limits. You can believe in God, but not be aware of what God is, i.e., believe that there is such a concept as God, but what this concept means will still remain a mystery to you. There is no benefit in this. But when the time comes and you realize that we are all part of a single whole, part of God, that everything around us is God and only God, that there is nothing but God, He is everywhere, we are in Him, and He is in us, then you will feel it yourself. Such things are difficult to describe in words, because they do not lend themselves to logic; they can only be realized by oneself. But to blindly believe in what is written in a book that is two thousand years old, which has been rewritten and changed a thousand times by everyone who could, is truly foolish. Although, of course, the Bible still contains many wise thoughts, but it is quite difficult to separate them from the rest of the nonsense that is written there.
