It's a rather absurd position. Ariputra makes a statement and then says, "Prove to me that it's not true."

Usually, the person who makes a claim provides evidence to support their words. Otherwise, they are considered a bluffer.

Ariputra, however, believes the opposite, that others should prove him wrong and calls those who disagree with his opinion bluffers. With complete confidence that it is up to them to prove him wrong.
