Africa needs to acknowledge the benefits of vaccines. It seems they have been "helped" for quite some time now. In general, modern states are somewhat reminiscent of a good cook. A good cook can even make something edible out of… well, you know. And if you also advertise your actions, you can just keep serving… that. (Who can tell the difference in taste between black caviar if no one has ever tried it?). Wishing everyone well, and trust your loved ones, not the state.
