Only Vision. What does the basic, advanced, and expert levels mean for it? Wisdom? Or any school of magic, say, air?

Vision (like the magic arrow) is immediately available in all schools of magic. The basic/advanced/expert levels are needed to increase the range of vision.
Basic range = Spell Power (SP)
Advanced range = 2 * SP
Expert range = 3 * SP
If you have 10 spell power and are an expert in any magic, you will be able to see the morale of monsters within a radius of 30 cells.
Vision is a level 2 magic, which means wisdom is not required.
In general, WISDOM is only needed to LEARN spells and does not affect the effect in any way.
