Because of this Hobbit, I rewatched the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I wanted to watch it all in one night, but I stopped halfway through the second movie and went to bed because I was falling asleep. I finished it today.
They should have made a director's cut, because it's really better. It's over 13 hours long, though.
I noticed for the first time that almost every character in the movie trilogy has long hair, except for the hobbits and one orc. Practically the entire extras cast also had long hair.
