If we all get what we deserve based on our karma, and, on the other hand, everything we get, we deserve, then what is there to fear and what is there to resist?

Everything is correct; everything that happens to us, we deserve based on our actions in the past. There is no injustice in this world.
But this in no way absolves these demons and cannibals of their guilt.

Our duty is to protect our children, women, and the elderly.
If we do not fulfill our duty now, then in the future, in the next life, or in subsequent lives, no one will protect us; no one will fulfill their duty towards us.

If we are walking down the road and see a person drowning in a swamp, in this case, we should not think: "Well, he is to blame; he is getting what he deserves based on his karma" (everything is correct; he deserved it through sinful actions in the past; no one denies this), let him continue to drown.

No! We must help him; otherwise, in the future, we will be the ones drowning, and no one will help us!

I must do what I must, and let whatever happens, happen.
Every person must fulfill their duty in accordance with their nature (their psychotype), in accordance with the time, place, and circumstances.
