HoMM3 HD is a mod (add-on) for the game Heroes of Might and Magic 3.
• The uninstaller warns: "WARNING! The program will completely delete the _HD3_Data folder, along with the settings file, all installed modules, and templates."
If the uninstaller deletes everything, then there is no point in such a warning. The point was that all user settings should be saved. And the uninstaller's request to delete should include an intermediate step about saving/deleting user settings. baratorch
Suggested: • Templates in the list are sorted alphabetically • An auto-updater appeared - This was implemented just 2-3 days after your message.
That's nice, of course. Thank you.:) Does this mean that I need to write on another forum? It's good that there is a mod author, otherwise there would be no one to write to - both for suggestions and criticism. Otherwise, it would be boring. baratorch
I read and take into account all suggestions and reports about HD. I may not agree with some things, some things may not be possible to implement, and I may forget some things. This is what a hobby project, made by one person, relying on pure enthusiasm, is like.
It's clear that the author is spending their time. One of the rewards for the author is already the fact that the HD mod is used as a basic mod for Tournaments. baratorch
No one is going to remove the frame and shadow that I specifically made to maintain the overall style, and they will not remove it in the future. Increase the vertical resolution, and the resource panel will be visible in battle. That's all!
It wouldn't have occurred to me on my small monitor that I needed to increase the vertical resolution, because I would cover the Heroes window with another function on the screen. Thus, the minimum vertical resolution is now 684 pixels. Okay, about the frame, but the shadow doesn't look good there and covers the space (besides, the shadow is displayed against the laws of physics or from multiple light sources... it turns out).
It is also necessary to complete the quick troop reset with one button in the city and in the mine.

I don't understand. Can you be more specific? Now you can transfer the army with one click, and at the same time select the unit to leave behind.
The quick exchange now happens when two heroes meet. But a hero can also spend the night in a city or mine with the entire army. And he spends the night on a fast unit, while the rest of the troops are dropped into the city's garrison (or to another hero in the city) or the mine, i.e., he is "leveling up". And that's where you have to click 6 times. There was also an idea for setting up a quick deployment of troops from the available ones for capturing tombs, hives, conservatories... But that's something utopian.
When loading a password-protected save, 3-4 strange windows pop up. And so it is every time.
The map does not open at all. Not even the corresponding request appears.
This is what happens when you open the map.
And there were times when I loaded a save, but the password was not requested...
Yes, that's exactly what happened. The map loaded without a password. But then, when I entered the password, the map could no longer be opened without a password. baratorch
So far, no one else has written except you. Perhaps this indicates that everyone doesn't care about 3.25, but I will still assume that this indicates its stability.
Or maybe no one will write. In general, such an approach - waiting for someone else to write - does not work in our conditions. For example, if I see that someone has written about a problem, I think: "Aha, someone has already written. Let's not repeat ourselves. And that means there's no need to write!" There are very few players who regularly follow the changes in the mod. The rest only occasionally look here, hoping to see news that there is a stable version. After stumbling in a Tournament a couple of times due to a bug, a player is much more cautious about using new versions. And they base their decisions on the opinions and recommendations of those who "are in the know".
