I had 1 stack of gogs, but Galtran had 3 stacks, then +350 gold, it was decent to play, although the path was blocked by 50 elves, but there was a way around. On d1d4 with pits and demons I took the Griffin Conservatory 1. On d1d5 the Medusa hive 8 (lost 2 demons and 2 gogs due to anti-morale and petrification). I could have pushed 50 boars or 20 hounds, which turned out to be closer. Had Observatory, Gloves of the Negotiator, and Helm of the Alabaster +2 primary skill, the opponent's scout heroes and secondary hero were revealed. I went for a scout hero, there was a Crypt and an artifact for morale (that's what baited me). Then the scout hero took another Crypt for a Ring of the Guiding Light +1 morale/luck, and I decided to already move towards the opponent, especially since I had Expert Earth with Shield and Haste on a scroll. Took a Naga Bank, 1000 experience - got Air. Attacking the Bears and Angels in the Castle was suicidal, so I decided to go home and farm more skeletons, but the passage through 17 Chaos Hydras left too little army and mana, and I forgot that Galtran is not Crag Hack and his damage is catastrophically low.
