Shadow Watchers are minor spirits of darkness in the form of a floating sphere of shadows with a single purple and glowing eye in the center and several stems surrounding their bodies, like tentacles, each ending in a smaller eye.

These entities are said to be born in the dark wings of Malassa, before separating to wander the underground realms. Those unfortunate enough to encounter them see their worst nightmares reflected in the unblinking eyes of the Watcher.

Contemplators are evolved types of Watchers. Like Malassa, they can see through shadows, secrets, and lies. Dark Elves use them to reveal hidden truths.
