But in practice, it never works out that way in Russia — there is an elite to whom everything is irrelevant, and all the rest of the rabble that can be mocked.

And judging by his latest posts like “deservedly dunked you in the manure,” the person genuinely believes he is right in this situation; he hasn’t realized his mistake.
