I didn't really delve into the argument, but I have my own opinion on this. If, in battle, to achieve the best result, you need to make 1000 moves and spend 100 hours, then you should do it. If we have 1 harpy, and the opponent has 100 golems, that doesn't mean we should give up to save time.
And if we have archers, they should shoot – that's logical :)
